Story:
The story is about Ram(Dhanush) and Janani(SHruti Hassan). Ram likes Janani from 12+ class and he will follow her every where and joins the tuition in which she joined so he can see her for more time. Slowly both are drawn to each other and they fall in love. They decides to get married after graduation. But things doesn’t always go in our way and various events happens which leads to the death of Ram. What are they? Forms the story.
Performances:
Dhanush has given best performance again in 3 movie. He has given his full to the character and has literally lived the character. Ram character is one of the highlight in the 3 movie review. He has excelled in showing the various shades of the life in 3 movie. To be simple he has given award winning performance in 3 movie.
Shruti Hassan has done better than her previous movies, but still she has to improve her acting abilities. Shruti Hassan looks so lovely and homely in 3 movie.
All other characters have done justice to their roles.
Anirudh who is the cousin of Aishwarya has done a good job with the audio of 3 movie. His famous Kolaveri Di has reached 50 millions hit by today and all other songs in 3 movie have also been getting good response. Also he has done a great job with the background score of 3 movie. Cinematography is good.
Aishwarya R. Dhanush who is making her debut as director with 3 movie has done a good job with the first half of the movie. She has shown the teenage love and the memories really good, but she failed to do justice for the second half. If she would have selected some really sweet love story for 3 movie, it sure would have been a blockbuster, but she instead chose this typical dark side Tamil movie which leads to the death of the lead role. She handled the 3 movie very well till the first half, but failed with the second half. But if she can improve, she sure can be a good director.
