Story
Pawan Kalyan as Venkatrathnam Naidu is the son of Suhasini and step son of Nagineedu (Naidu). Since his childhood he used to treat himself as Gabbar Singh after getting a strong feeling from Sholay gabbar singh character. Venkatrathanam naidu grows up into a very daring and dashing police officer. Venkatrathnam will be posted into his home town – Kondaveedu as Sub-Inspector, he used to resolve the problems of villagers and in that process, he mess with Siddhappa Naidu (Abhimanyu Singh) who wants to become a big politician and rule the people with no mercy as he brought up as goonda.
Story takes twists in the second half where Gabbar Singh will get into complete emotions to resolve all the issues in the family and in the village, in this process he fell into love with a girl called Bhagyalaxmi (Shruti Hassan). How gabbar singh will come out of all the problems and reach his personal goals and lead the love life makes the rest of the story.

Frankly there are not much twists and turns in the gabbar singh story except 4 scenes which are completely fresh from the original dabangg movie. They are

2. Gabbar singh entry in the rickshaw with background score “Eepetaku Nene Mesteri” song
3. Brahmanandam as Recovery Ranjith Kumar
Performances
Pawan Kalyan: No other actor from tollywood can do the justice to the gabbar singh character thats for sure. With the hype created around gabbar singh movie, other than PK would have been an average flick. Pawan Kalyan simply gone through the character and did his mannerisms at the highest levels. Stylish but would have taken care of glamour bit more.
Shruti Hassan: Did her best to suit the Bhagyalaxmi character, but she didn’t get that screen presence in the film, but she was simply beautiful in songs and romantic scenes.
Brahmanandam & Ali: Brahmi as recovery ranjit was simply rocking performance and Ali with harish shankar dialogues gave the best.
Abhimanyu Singh: Emotions were not carried out completely, something missed in his character (Siddhappa Naidu). I would go with sonu sood for this. But he ensure that he never missed the track as a goonda of the village.
Suhasini: One word, did justice to her mother role.
Nagineedu: Not much scope in his character, but OK.
Tanikella Bharani: As villian support tanikella bharani was not fully used in my sense. director harish shankar would have given a depth in the character with more dialogues.
Ajay: Not like dabangg, in gabbar singh ajay did not get lengthy role to explore, he just had couple of scenes.

Gabbar Singh Movie Analysis
After 11 years Pawan Kalyan come back film Gabbar Singh no doubt about that, its a complete entertainer from director harish shankar. Only the flipside is second half which was bit dragged and good editing would have made gabbar singh blockbuster from the day one. Cinematography, Screenplay and direction was the highlights from technical aspects. Devi Sri Prasad tunes and background score to gabbar singh gave full energy to songs.
With this more than hit talk on the first day of release definitely gabbar singh movie is going to create wonders and box office, especially kevvu Keka song with Malaika Arora Khan was an instant hit will rock at B and C centers across the state. But director harish shankar who gave the best entertainment in the first half missed the same in second half, especially climax scene. the original dabangg material would work better.
