Even though Jalsa was an above average movie, it didn’t fetched the much needed break to the Power Star in the year 2008. But now Gabbar Singh movie which was released all over the world with not much hype like Panjaa and Puli declared a unanimous blockbuster.
Gabbar Singh just smashed all the tollywood previous first day and first week collections in almost all areas, including overseas. In the recent times there is no movie which had a per screen audience like Gabbar Singh movie said Taran Adarsh who works for Bollywood Boxoffice Trade Reports. First week there were no tickets at all and house full boards were hanging before normal theaters and multiplexes tickets were sold out. This trend is continuing in the second week also but not at the speed of first week sales.
Gabbar Singh collections were not revealed by the producer ganesh bandla, as harish shankar told to the media that Pawan Kalyan was not interested in creating fan wars between tollywood stars.
If Second week of Gabbar Singh runs with 80% occupancy then obviously it will stand at the top of list in the highest collections ever in tollywood history. We have to wait for this sunday to know that.
