Jagan Mohan Reddy and his mother Y S Vijayalakshmi who also resigned as MLA from Pulivendula constituency yesterday morning both left to Kadapa by Train in the late hours for a memorial service in honour of late YS Rajasekhar reddy.
Jagan resigned on Monday as Congress MP from Kadapa District after months of insolence, accusing the party of trying to split his family and seize his father Rajasekhar Reddy’s legacy.
Y.S Jagan Mohan Reddy had already faxed a 5-page letter to AICC chief Sonia Gandhi, expressing his anguish over the way the party take control his father’s memory.
Vivekananda Reddy told to media sources that the Delhi high command is not trying to generate or create any split between the YSR family. The decision to go to Delhi and meet Sonia Gandhi to discuss a possible ministerial berth was completely my decision, not the congress party.
