Kalyan ram’s kathi is released today and it is recieving a good talk among the audience. We can say another hit for Kalyan Ram after “Hare Ram” and Kathi has raisen up his image high which is he needed the most. Coming to the highlights of this movie fights which are picturised in a stunning way is the main highlight of this movie. The comedy and the sentimet was good too. Like others movie it too has minus points. The main drawback is the director failure of convincing the story to audience. He scored marks at fights , comedy and sentiment but lack of logics at some scenes might make this movie boring. But it can attract the mass audiences by the fights that are picturised very well. Audience who loves fights are gona like this movie.Story :
Ramakrishna (Kalyan Ram) is a football player who loves his family very much. He likes his younger sister Haritha (Saranya Mohan) to an extent that he does anything for her. Haritha has a knack off pulling the wrong button always. She never makes right choices and gets into trouble and Ramakrishna comes to her rescue at every instance. She also makes wrong choice in choosing her life partner (Shyam). He is a factionist Muthyam’s (Kota Srinivasa Rao) son and marries Haritha to take revenge upon her. Haritha slaps him when he tries to woo her and in turn he marries her to teach her a lesson. Ramakrishna comes to know about this and goes with his sister to her in-laws place to set the things right for her.
Performances:
Kalyan Ram excelled in fights but failed in comic track asusal. Sana Khan didn’t have to do much with the movie. Her role is limited. Saranya MOhan has did good job in her sister role. Shyam who rocked with his performance in Kick did well in this movie too. Kota Srinivas was great asusal. Telanagan Shakuntala was good. Ajoy’s role was imited but his introduction was good. Dharamavarapu was good. Brahmanandam tried to make some laughs. Venu Madhav is a waste. Ahuti Prasad was not upto his mark.
Highlights:
Action sequences are really good. Kalyan Ram fooling kota is hilarious. Sentiment was shown good. Comic track is good.
DrawBacks:
Directos lost his track at some point. Some scenbes are logic less. Screenplay wasn’t that good. Coming up of comedy track in serious scenes was a drawback.
Overall the movie can be given a rating of 2.3/4th out of 5
