Mappillai (Tamil: மாப்பிள்ளை; English: Son-in-law) is an upcoming Tamil comedy drama film directed by Suraj, starring Dhanush, Hansika Motwani and Manisha Koirala in the lead roles. The film is an enhanced remake of the 1989 film of the same name, which starred Rajinikanth, Dhanush’s father-in-law, in the lead role. To be distributed by Sun Pictures, it is schedule to release on 8 April 2011.
The movie review was very positive and one can expect a complete comedy entertainer, especially the kind of role vivek got is absolutely catchy.
