Rana Daggubati and Genelia starrer “Naa Ishtam” movie has been released today all over. Nee Ishtam movie is the third movie Rana did in Tollywood and he is pinning his hopes on Naa Ishtam movie as his last movie Nenu Naa Rakshasi was failed at Box Office. So let’s go into the Naa Ishtam movie review and see whether Naa Ishtam has reached the expectations or not.

Story:
Ganesh(Rana Daggubati) is a practical and happy go lucky person who lives in Malaysia. He is good at heart but does things which he likes and don’t care about the sentiments. One day he confronts Krishnaveni (Genelia) who elopes from her Marriage in India to marry a guy she loves Kishore. So Krishnaveni comes to Malaysia, but her lover don’t turn upto Malaysia yet. So she had to live with Ganesh.
In this process, Ganesh loses some huge amount of money and he decides to recover that money from her. She takes him to her father Nasser in India. Ganesh who is already in love with Krishnaveni discovers that her lover is not a good person and wants to break them up. He wants to take her back to Malaysia but here comes Kishore from nowhere and the story takes turn. The rest of the story is about how Ganesh won Krishnaveni’s love.
Performance:
Rana did a good job in Naa Ishtam movie. He tried to carry Naa Ishtam movie on his shoulder but he lacked at some expression. Rana has showed great improvement in terms of dance in Nee Ishtam. Well, it’s not that he has excelled in dance, but comparatively he did a fine job.
Genelia has once again did a bubbly role in Naa Ishtam movie. She didn’t put up on a lot of makeup and had a natural beauty thing going on in this movie. She onc again repeated her Bommarillu, Ready type roles in Naa Ishtam movie.
Harsha Vardha Rane who made his debut with the movie Takitha Takitha has made a handsome and cool entrance in Nss Ishtam movie. But he has to work more to make his presence felt to have a great future in Tollywood.
Bramhanandam, Ali, Chitram Seenu and Vijay Sai did bought few laughs in Naa Ishtam movie. Nasser was good and rest of the actors are okay with their roles in Naa Ishtam movie review.
Chakri has composed tracks to Naa Ishtam movie. He did a good work after a long time. Few songs are good. The item songs is a visual treat with Zakaria and Hamsanandini shaking their legs for the song despite the song.
Director Prakash Toleti has tried a lot to imitate Puri Jagannath in the characterization of hero in Naa Ishtam, but he didn’t succeeded that much. He lacked in narrating and handling the peak emotion scenes. He did a good work in the first half but he has failed to continue it in the second half. The second half looks dragged and the screenplay too didn’t looke upto the mark. He must do a lot to continue here.
