Rana who has made a decent debut with the movie “Leader” has been made his entry in Bollywood in “Dum Maro Dum”. Later he did “Nenu Naa Rakshasi” in Tollywood, although that movie didn’t reached upto the expectations. Later he has been signed to play one of the leads in Ram Gopal Varma’s “Department” in Bollywood which includes big star cast like Amitabh Bachan, Sanjay Dutt, Anjana Sukhani, Madhu Shalini, Lakshmi Prasanna. This movie is ready to the screens soon.
Along with that movie he has singed another movie in Tollywood under the direction of Prakash Toleti who is making his debut with this movie. The movie has been titled “Naa Istam”. Genelia has been paired opposite Rana in this movie. The movie first look has been released recently. The movie is currently shooting in Ramoji Film City. They are doing scenes in specially erected set of a pub in RFC. Chakri is composing tracks to this movie. The movie is about a guy who thinks about only himself but no one and a girl who thinks about others too. Paruchuri Kireeti is producing this movie. The movie is slated to be released in March 2012.
