STORY:
Rajanna is a revolutionary freedom fighter who take against Razakars and Zamindars with his songs. The movie starts with tale of Mallamma (Annie), who was brought back to the village Neelakondapalli. Her grandpa will accompany her to the village. Mallamma is a singer (like his father) her songs were taken badly by the ruler dorasani (Shwetha menon). After mallamma realizing that her father is non-other than Rajanna, the flashback episode starts…
Nagarjuna entrance will be after interval only, how rajanna takes on razakars and zamindars after he came to his village – neelakondapalli during 1947′s will make the rest of the story.
Performances:
Akkineni Nagarjuna’s one of the best performances in his entire career, he just gone through the character and made it look simple. His dressing and dialogue diction was simply awesome in all scenes.
Sneha just gone through her normal character, their is not much to say about her. Nazar just excelled in his character, did the best job to suit every frame. ANR voice over to the historical details was really good.
Annie (mallamma) was the real star of the movie, yes – she did her best against big actors like Nazar, Nag, Shewtha menon and sneha. Especially her dialogue delivery and expressions will be liked by everyone. Annie had a very good career ahead, no doubt about that.
Shwetha Menon as dorasani was perfect, she made her presence felt in every frame. Especially the conversation with mallamma was mind blowing.
Ajay, Pradeep Rawat, Mukesh Rishi are good at their character and did justice overall.
Music given by keeravani will the backbone for Rajanna in all ways. The songs will never take you to imagination as every tune suits the live scenes. Especially when a period drama like Rajanna, songs will take more attention where Rajanna is a revolutionary singer. Keeravani gave good music overall.
Director: Vijayender Prasad will be a competitor to his son from Rajanna onwards, after watching rajanna it will be word. He made sure that he never miss the script. He might be a debutant as director but he carried all the way to success with rajanna movie. Vijayender prasad directed the entire mallamma episode damn good, especially how she will take forward her father’s dream.

Analysis:
Rajanna movie will set a new trend in tollywood film industry, Nagarjuna dared to produce this film and made entrance as rajanna after 40 minutes. There is not much to say about rajanna frankly, one has to watch it for its Art work, Songs, Nagarjuna and Annie peformances. Vijayender prasad took support from his son Rajamouli for action sequences and he did justice for all shots. Finally Rajanna is going to win the race, when a year that doesn’t seem that bad to tollywood.
