Earlier the rumors came that “Rana” movie has been shelved and Ravi Kumar has cleared the air announcing that the movie is not shelved and said that the movie will start rolling from December, keeping in mind Rajini’s health conditions. Now the latest news is that the movie will resumes shooting from December 12th,2011.
Earlier, Rajinikanth has participated in shooting of Ra.One as he is doing a cameo role in this movie as his last avatar “Chitti”. Earlier this news has been shunned saying that it is a rumor but Shahrukh has requested him personally and he said yes, and they shot this scene on October 2nd,2011. Despite of this they still think Rajinikanth need to take rest, so they have decided to start the shooting from December 12th,2011. Deepika Padukone is doing one of the female leads in the movie. Rajini is playing a triple role in this movie. A.R. Rahman is composing tracks to this movie. Also there are rumors that this will be the last movie Rajini will act as a hero.
