Sony’s New Light-Weight Vaio S Series Lets You Choose Between ‘Speed’ Mode For Fast Performance And ‘Stamina’ Mode For Longer Battery Life

Sony has launched a VAIO S series notebook with a 33.8cm (13.3-inch) screen in a 23.9mm thin, full-flat body. The notebook is powered by the second-generation Intel Core i7 processor and AMD Radeon HD 6630M GPU with 1GB VRAM. It has a performance switch that supports the dynamic hybrid graphic system. You can easily choose between ‘speed’ mode for fast performance and ‘stamina’ mode for longer battery life.
The 1.715Kg notebook has battery life of six hours, which can be doubled to 12 hours by using an optional extended battery. It comes with a backlit keyboard and a touchpad with multi-gesture functions for users working without a mouse.
The notebook features quick boot and fast operation and starts up within 17 seconds from shutdown.
